Let us Pray

 After this manner therefore pray ye: 

Our Father which art in heaven, 

Hallowed be thy name. 

Thy kingdom come.  

Thy will be done in earth, 

as it is in heaven. 

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, 

as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, 

but deliver us from evil: 

for Thine is the kingdom, 

and the power, and the glory, forever.  

Amen      Matthew 6:9-13

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, 

the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

What is man, that thou art mindful of him?  

and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Psalm 8: 3-4

What a privilege it is that we can bow our heads and pray to our Almighty God.

The Prayer of a Child

After Christmas dinner yesterday,

two year old Jeremiah asked

for another cookie; and was told by

his mother to ask a Blessing over his cookie,

Jeremiah bowed his little head and said,

" Thank you Jesus, cookie eat."

Such a simple little prayer, yet so touching,

 because it came from the heart of a child.

Everyone Needs a Saviour

Jesus

    Is there anyone in the world who doesn't need a Saviour?  No there isn't.  But, a lot of people don't know they need one.  We need to tell them that there is a God that loves them, and He sent His Son to die on the cross to take away their sins.
    I've known many people over the years who professed to be Christians, they went to church, sang in the choir, and some even taught Sunday School; yet, outside the church others could not tell that they were indeed Christians.
    I pray that God will bring them back to Himself, that their witness might be restored.  We live in trying times and need the Lord to walk beside us everyday. 
    Blessed Jesus, restore unto us the joys of thy salvation.  Amen.
